Philip is a partner of a real estate development company, focusing on developing entry-level homes and pursuing urban renewal opportunities. He received his BSc from the Statler School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, where he concentrated in real estate finance. Prior to taking on his current role in 2010, Philip worked in investment banks in New York City, Tokyo and Hong Kong for 13 years, with a focus on originating and structuring real estate-related private equity investments, formulating investment strategies for real estate investment funds, and restructuring distressed assets in Asia.
Philip joined the Board of Generations Christian Education in 2014. He was baptised when he was a teenager, but it was not until 2009 when Philip fully committed himself to Christ through the Alpha course. Since then, Philip and his wife have been passionate in sharing the gospel, first by organising small home group gatherings with friends and relatives, and later through leading small groups in the Alpha Course. He is a fervent roof-top farmer, is married to Genevia and has three young children, all of them are currently attending a Generations school.
