Admissions and Marketing Lead
This Role:
● Reports to: Principal (NIS) and relevant Generations Christian Education leadership
● Campuses: Responsible for both Primary and Kindergarten campuses
Job Purpose: The Head of Admissions and Marketing Lead (AML) is a senior leader responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and operational excellence of student admissions and marketing functions across both NIS campuses. The AML drives enrolment strategy, manages brand and public relations, leads outreach and retention initiatives, and ensures that admissions and marketing activities align with the school’s mission, values, and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
● Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions and marketing strategy to achieve enrolment targets and support the long-term vision of both Primary and Kindergarten campuses.
● Advise the Principal and executive leadership on market positioning, enrolment planning, and brand development.
● Provide high-level data analysis and market insights to inform school business planning.
Admissions Management
● Oversee all aspects of the admissions cycle, including inquiries, applications, family engagement, assessment, acceptance, enrolment, and induction for both campuses.
● Set and monitor clear KPIs for admissions team members.
● Ensure excellent service, transparency, and professionalism at every stage of the admissions journey.
● Lead, mentor, and develop the admissions team for the primary and kindergarten campuses.
● Track and report enrolment, conversion, and retention data with actionable insights.
Marketing and Communications
● Lead the development and execution of an annual marketing, digital, and community engagement plan.
● Oversee all school marketing campaigns, digital and social media, print collateral, and communications to drive brand awareness and preference.
● Maintain consistent messaging and brand standards across channels.
● Evaluate and manage partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising to maximize reach and value.
Public Relations and Community Building
● Develop and execute public relations strategies to strengthen the NIS brand and leadership in local and international markets.
● Represent the school in media, community forums, and official functions, ensuring a positive and influential public presence.
● Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, education networks, feeder schools, alumni, and community leaders.
● Oversee the organization of outreach events, school tours, and open days.
Operational Excellence
● Oversee maintenance of admissions and family records, data privacy compliance, and operational processes.
● Collaborate with finance, administration, and leadership on matters related to admissions, retention, and reporting.
● Monitor budgets for marketing and admissions activities.
Senior Leadership Collaboration
● Serve as a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school planning, culture, and policy development.
● Work closely with heads of section/campus, academic leaders, and Generations Christian Education HQ staff.
● Deputize for the Principal in matters related to external enrolment and public representation as requested.
Continuous Improvement
● Keep abreast of market trends, parent expectations, and competitor analysis to ensure NIS remains innovative and responsive.
● Lead regular review and improvement of admissions, orientation, and onboarding processes.
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in education, business, marketing, or related fi eld.
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in admissions/marketing, ideally in an international school setting.
● Demonstrable leadership, team management, and strategy development experience.
● Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese/Mandarin an advantage.
● Experience with school management systems and digital marketing tools preferred.
