Rebecca Rigdengreen

Rebecca studied law at the University of London, and worked in publishing before moving into the education sector. As a student she spent a year working in Brazil with under-privileged children, and later in London worked for Hackney Quest, an education charity serving the needs of children excluded from schools for behavioural issues. She was also on the board of trustees of a major Christian mission organisation and on the leadership team of her church. Rebecca has led Alpha, youth Alpha and Christianity Explored both in the UK and Hong Kong. After moving with her family to Hong Kong Rebecca worked part time with individual needs students in a secondary school before taking a full time position as a primary school librarian. Rebecca loves opening kids’ eyes to reading and learning and especially the gospel. She and her family are deeply involved at Community Church Hong Kong.
